The Cost of Bad Info

April 19, 20261 min read

Charlatans sell hope.

So do gurus. So do most content creators.

They're incentivized to do so.

They promise fast transformation.
They use scarcity and urgency.
They lean on social proof.

Then they monetize your attention and rarely deliver.

Many of them have no real experience. Or only old experience.

No real mechanisms. No truth.

Yet they call themselves, "Experts", "Specialists", and more.

Bad information is expensive.

It costs money.
It wastes talent.
It crushes confidence.
It burns reputation.

Worst of all, it steals time.

And time is the one thing you never get back.

Here is a simple red flag:

If I have to trust you to do business with you, you probably are not that good.

Truth > Trust

Look for results over stories. Ask for specifics over hype.

Find a track record over promises. Choose simple over complex.

Follow evidence over emotion.

Guard your mind.
Guard your wallet.
Guard your time.

Nobody else will.
